The right choice of print material, ink quality, finishing, and workmanship can succinctly communicate the right messages to your customers.
NOT ALL PRINTING ARE EQUAL
Printing services are perhaps one of the oldest industries in the world (think of when newspapers were first published), and you are probably surrounded by printed materials at this very moment – instruction manuals, books, leaflets, newspapers, catalogues, brochures, newsletters, utility bills, documents, files etc. Modern SOHO printing machines produce output that are close in quality to traditional printing press, while the Internet has made printing possible purely online; just upload your design files, choose your materials, and wait for your materials to be sent to you.
However, our value comes in understanding all intricacies of the printing process, and ensuring that all issues are considered to produce printed materials that are greater than the sum of their parts.
The common perception of printing is that they’re the same, but in fact there are differences which can set apart your printed collaterals from others.
Factors include:
- Choice of printed medium
- Quality of paper
- Paper grammage
- Handwork / workmanship
- Original vs Third Party ink (refills)
NO THIRD PARTY INK OR REFILLS
One of the primary reasons why some companies are able to charge low rates for printing is due to the use of third party ink or ink refills. As such, our printing rates will not be the lowest by any measure. We did experiment with third party ink and refills in the past, but the results were not satisfactory – faster ink fade, less vibrant colours, and they caused numerous problems to our printing machines. Hence, we have since stopped using such lower cost ink alternatives, reverted back to original manufacturers’ ink, and have not looked back.
So if you’re budget-strapped, or looking for the absolute lowest cost printing, you most probably won’t find them here.

CASE STUDY
Your company’s fleet of vehicles are possibly one of the most cost-effective advertising medium. As they are mostly on the move, you can be sure that your company’s brand and message reach out to your audience every day. Most importantly, unlike other paid advertising mediums, you do not incur any media costs as you already own the media (your fleet of vehicles)!
Signage and decals on vehicles require different vinyl materials and treatment. As they are constantly being exposed to the effects of the weather elements, they have to be made of a higher grade of vinyl for added durability. An additional protective coating further guards against premature colour fade.
The following is just one of the many vehicle signage and decals produced for one of our clients, Ho2 Design and Construction.
The client wanted something simple and uncluttered. Hence, we’ve proposed a solution based purely on the company logo. The letterings were cut using precision laser cutters, and the colours were adjusted to match the corporate colours exactly. The front of the vehicle was left blank as it was the client’s preference.
Conventional vehicle signage and decals attempt to squeeze too much information on a limited space. Telephone numbers, fax numbers, address, handphone numbers, types of services are just examples information overload. After all, when the vehicle moves at speed, who has the time to remember or jot down any of these information, even if they are of interest to the audience?
We can safely say, none.
Hence, a simple website address is what we’ve proposed. It is simple, clear, and easy to remember.
