There are two categories of licences which depend on the duration that the advertisement will be displayed:
- A licence that is issued for a period of display for 1 year may be renewed automatically if the renewal licence fee payment is made through GIRO, subject to the latest licensing requirements at the point of renewal. Upon successful GIRO deduction, the licence will be renewed.
- A licence that is issued for a period of display for 1 year or less may be renewed upon an application made and payment of the appropriate licence fee within the period stipulated in the notice of payment issued by the Commissioner. The renewal is subject to the latest licensing requirements at the point of renewal.
